From Málaga Airport to Gibraltar & La Línea
Gibraltar is 130 km from Málaga Airport, about 85 minutes on the AP-7 to La Línea de la Concepción, the Spanish town on the border. Because crossing the frontier by car can add unpredictable queues, we drop you at the border crossing itself, a two-minute walk from Gibraltar's airport terminal and the taxi rank on the other side. If you are staying in La Línea, we take you to the door.
The fixed price is €150 for 1–4 passengers in a premium Tesla sedan and €230 for 5–7 passengers in a Tesla minivan, tolls included. Many passengers use this route when Gibraltar flights are diverted to Málaga because of wind, and we can usually respond within the hour.
Good to know
Bring your passport: even though you are dropped on the Spanish side, you will need it to walk across into Gibraltar. Once through, Gibraltar taxis and the number 5 bus are right at the frontier.
Flight diverted from Gibraltar to Málaga? Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you know. We monitor diversions and can often have a Tesla in Arrivals by the time you have collected your bags.
