From Málaga Airport to Málaga city
Málaga city is only 10 km from the airport, about 15 minutes along the MA-21 and MA-20. The train is cheap but leaves you at María Zambrano or Centro-Alameda station, still a taxi ride from most hotels, and the taxi queue at the airport in summer can be longer than the journey itself. A private transfer takes you from the arrivals hall to your hotel door, the cruise terminal or the AVE station for €40 fixed.
€40 for 1–4 passengers in a premium Tesla sedan, €55 for 5–7 in a Tesla minivan. The price covers the whole city: the historic centre and Soho, Muelle Uno and the port, La Malagueta, Pedregalejo and El Palo, Teatinos, Huelin and the Limonar area.
Good to know
Much of the historic centre is pedestrian. If your hotel is on Calle Larios, Plaza de la Constitución or the streets around the cathedral, the driver drops you at the closest access point and helps with the bags. Hotels on the Alameda, the port and La Malagueta have direct access.
Catching a cruise? Tell us the ship name. Málaga's cruise port has three terminals and the driver takes you to the right one. We also do the reverse: cruise terminal to airport, timed to your disembarkation.

Questions about the Málaga city transfer
How much is a transfer from Málaga Airport to the city centre?
€40 for 1–4 passengers in a Tesla sedan and €55 for 5–7 passengers in a Tesla minivan. Fixed price per vehicle, anywhere in Málaga city, luggage included.
How long does it take from Málaga Airport to the city centre?
About 15 minutes for the 10 km. To Pedregalejo or El Palo allow 20–25 minutes.
Do you transfer from Málaga Airport to the cruise port?
Yes. Transfers to the Port of Málaga cruise terminals cost €40 for 1–4 passengers. Tell us the ship and we take you to the correct terminal.
Can you take us to María Zambrano train station?
Yes. The station is 12 minutes from the airport and included in the €40 city price. If you have an AVE to catch we will suggest a safe pick-up time.
Is the airport train cheaper than a transfer to Málaga centre?
The C-1 train costs about €2 per person but only reaches the stations. For a couple with luggage staying in the centre, the €40 door-to-door transfer usually ends up saving time and a second taxi.
